I'm Sarah, and I am the photographer and owner of Golden Little Images. In addition to being a photographer, I am a mom of three, living in the South Suburbs of Chicago. I can usually be found with a coffee in hand, a chunky scarf, and a solid statement earring.
During my childhood and adolescence, I was drawn to dance, art, theater, and tinkering with my film camera. After becoming a mom, my interest in photography grew steadily as I focused (literally) on capturing those precious and fleeting childhood moments with an artistic eye.
I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology when my oldest was 4, and have continued to enjoy researching and learning everything I can about raising happy, healthy, and well-adjusted kids and how to photograph all our memories. My love for kiddos and love for taking pictures have equipped and inspired me to create a business that will professionally and artistically document the joy of babyhood and childhood for families.
From firsthand experience, I understand that those first days, weeks, and months of parenthood can be an overwhelming flood of love and, well...overwhelm! It can be a lot to find the right photographer while also adjusting to life with the cute new human you have around.
My mission is to not only deliver beautiful images of your babies and families, but to create an experience that allows parents to relax during your baby's session, because you feel confident that you and your little one will be taken care of during the entire process, and will have memories to cherish for a lifetime.
